Soft Bait and Operating Techniques
1. T-tail Bait (Perturbation Type)
Features: Short and large swing of the tail, imitating shrimp escape, suitable for bottom mounted search in obstacle areas
Technique:
Big jump and fall: lead hook+7-10cm T-tail, jump distance of 1.5 meters/time, lure mouth attack during sinking process
Step jumping bottom: Jump 3 times and stop for 5 seconds to activate ambush fish species (mandarin fish/black fish)
Avoiding pitfalls: Use a 5g or more lead hook to maintain stable trajectory in rapids
2. Rolling Tail Maggots (stable type)
Features: Spiral tail with uniform turbulence, mimicking crawling movements
Technique:
Bottom mounted slow drag: 0.3m/s uniform winding+light pulling of rod tip (once every 5 seconds), targeting bottom bass
Inverted fishing group: 5cm tail roll+1/0 crank hook, suspended and shaken to attract cautious fish species
Color matching rule: fluorescent orange for turbid water, natural color for clear water
3. Needle Tail Bait (fine type)
Features: Micro oscillation with low alertness, imitating dying small fish
Technique:
Continuous micro shaking: 3 high-frequency shaking of the rod tip per second, triggering the mandarin fish interface
Lead free floating: Do not hang lead and let it sink naturally, targeting low activity fish schools
Applicable scenarios: Accurate search within 1 meter of bridge piers/water grass edges
4. Noodle Worm (Universal Type)
Differences in Hanging Methods:
Head hook: Enhance swing amplitude (jump bottom 30cm)
Central puncture: natural floating settling speed (winter specific)
Death Temptation: Trembling rod tip during suspension simulates spasms, increasing the hit rate of mandarin fish by 40%
